This image was made for SCI FI's Infinate OZ project http://www.scifi.com/tinman/oz/. The original concept was to make an evil doll house, with a sun eating machine in it. When it was finished it didn't work well with the rest of the scenes so I had to take this piece out of the project and start a new one. Even though this one didn't make it into the project I still think it made an interesting image.

To make the image I made a rough maya scene and Rendered out an ambient occlusion pass. The scene was painted using several different textures in photoshop. To give it more detail I added in the ambient occlusion pass as a multiply layer.

The wires and texturing for some of the outlining rooms were done by Seth Olson http://setholson.com/
The maya wire script was created by Andrew Closson http://setholson.com/.

The production studio was B_REEL
